Brandis town council is offering plots for commercial use on the site of the former military airfield in Waldpolenz. On the neighbouring site what is currently the world's largest photovoltaic plant is in operation, which is why primarily trades active in the field of renewable energies are to be located here. Use of the business park is possible in the scope of the terms of the development plan, whereby the inner development can be customised to meet the requirements of an investor.

The site is partially developed – roads exist in some cases, the development plan is legally binding. Connection of the development road to the A 14 autobahn is set to be completed by the end of January 2015. The plot sizes range from approximately 1,000 m² to approximately 70,000 m². A purchase price of € 22 /m² is targeted, with a lease of € 3 m²/year possible.

Waldpolenz Business Park offers the right location for your company, in a site with good transport links and attractive surroundings. Prominent sectors in the region include energy and environmental technology, the capital goods industry, automobile and automotive sector as well as the food industry.

In the neighbouring industrial estate (Beucha/ Brandis) Hörmann KG, rff-Rohr Flansch Fitting and a logistics unit of Aldi have settled, together with numerous small and medium-sized enterprises. It is one of the few industrial estates in the region to have utilisation of over 90%.

Brandis lies in the flourishing Leipzig/Halle economic region and benefits from inter-municipal co-operation on the development of commercial sites in the region. This enables interested companies to achieve the well-advised and sustainable planning of their projects.
